  • Ma is a Japanese concept that describes the power of negative space—not as an absence, but as an interval that invites reflection. It is the pause that allows thought to expand and perception to deepen. In this space, the mind can rest and reconnect with the world around it.

This series was created during the pandemic lockdowns, in collaboration with dancers, choreographers, and actors who, unable to perform, were seeking new ways to express themselves. The photographs were made outdoors and at a distance with the shared desire to transcend the isolation of the moment.

Together, we set out to leave a mark—tracing beauty through the uncertainty of a world in transformation.
